Local Area Highlights

Ross Creek Farm is near the charming, riverside downtown of Clifton located in Wayne County, Tennessee. Clifton offers many recreational opportunities, shopping, wonderful restaurants and fun community events throughout the year.
- The Tennessee River offers the finest boating, fishing, water skiing, hiking, camping or just a place to relax and enjoy the peaceful and comforting views.
- The 18-hole Bear Trace At Ross Creek Landing features 7,131 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.9 and it has a slope rating of 132 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, ASGCA, the Bear Trace golf course is just one mile from Ross Creek Farm!
- Columbia State Community College now has a nice campus in Clifton which is growing rapidly with credit and noncredit courses offered year-round. The Frank Hughes School also serves students in Preschool through Grade 12. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
- The Clifton City Marina features new boat slips, camping facilities, public boat ramp, and on-site restaurant and convenience store.
- T.S. Stribling House Museum & Library, on the National Register of Historic Places, stands as a tribute to the Clifton native son who was awarded the Pulitzer Prize and was one of the first Southern writers to confront issues of social conscience. Inside you will find beautifully restored original woodwork, wood floors, art, photographs, and a collection of items belonging to the Striblings.
- Within a short drive are Shiloh Military Battlefield National Park and numerous state parks. Clifton Tennessee and the areas that surround Wayne County boast more than 10,000 acres for hunting, fishing and camping.
